SiCoustics® started with a simple idea: every part of an event footprint should be able to communicate — not just the stage. The entrance. The vendor row. The safety corridor. The sponsor zone three blocks from the finish line.

So we built a wireless, GPS-aware system that covers any footprint in synchronized sound and signage. No trenching, no hardwiring — setup and teardown inside a single day.

Today SiCoustics powers walk/runs, festivals, parades, tailgates, city celebrations, and community events across Texas. The system is the same. The footprint adapts.

2011 → 2026

  1. 2011 — It Started as SiRUN
    First deployment at a local walk/run in the Houston area — stereo backpacks carried along the route, so the music followed the runners instead of fading out past the start line. No SiCube yet; the hardware came later.
  2. 2014 — SiCoustics® Established
    The backpacks proved the idea. SiCoustics was formed to build it properly — a wireless, GPS-aware system that covers a whole footprint instead of a single stretch of route.
  3. 2017 — Patent Granted
    U.S. patent on wireless event audio distribution system.
  4. 2019 — 2.4M+ Annual Reach
    Crossed 2.4 million attendees reached per year across the portfolio, with 300+ miles of event footprint covered — parades and marathons, not just single-venue events.
  5. 2023 — The Help! Department
    Launched real-time safety broadcast capability. Cities and safety officers push one critical message and every zone announces it together, about a minute from notice.
  6. 2025 — Critical-Comms Platform
    Pre-staged weather alerts, reunite messaging, and evacuation instructions — ready before the event, activated in one command.
  7. 2026 — Wrap YOUR Event™
    Launched full event-footprint coverage — distributed sound and signage across the whole event, with QR engagement and landing pages woven in.
